Nothing ever truly beautiful comes easy. While the island of Llanddwyn requires one to respect the tidewaters and accessing it may require a 40-minute hike from the car park, it is well worth the effort. The lighthouse of Tŵr Mawr has stood on this place for nearly 150 years, backed by the majestic Snowdonian mountains. As you finally settle down to admire the view, you can’t help but catch your breath and imagine the history this island has seen.
