Helsinki sweet spots

Helsinki sweet spots

Look no further for your daily dose of korvapuusti, the quintessential Finnish cinnamon roll made with a dash of cardamom.

No bun intended! Finland’s legendary sweet roll is celebrated on October 4. Here are our top two cafés in Helsinki that do korvapuusti right. Indulge in one (or two – we won’t tell) on cinnamon roll day.

1. Café Succès

Classic Café Succès on boutique-filled Korkeavuorenkatu street has been the go-to korvapuusti address since 1977.

2. Kanniston Leipomo

Operating since 1914, Kanniston Leipomo has seven locations around town including its original charismatic Punavuori café.
